The Township of Bedminster, located in Somerset County, New Jersey is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Under general supervision, the Police Officer performs law enforcement duties in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives of the Bedminster Township Police Department and in compliance with governing federal, state, and local laws. General Qualifications:
The ideal applicant must currently be enrolled in a police academy Alternate Route program, possess a Basic Course for Police Officer PTC Certification, or PTC certified Special Law Enforcement Officer II waiver eligible.

60 college credits from an accredited college or university or

30 college credits from an accredited college or university and at least 2 years of active military service and honorable discharge.

Valid New Jersey Driver’s License

Citizen of the United States with New Jersey residency.

Good moral character and not be convicted of any criminal offenses

Must pass medical, psychological, and drug screening prior to appointment
