c. Resolution No. 2018-060 Authorizing the Appointment of Two Substitute Bus Drivers for summer program sponsored by the Recreation Department

a. Affordable Housing Ordinance
Township Planner Banisch has prepared a draft Affordable Housing Ordinance for review prior to introduction at a future meeting.

a. Short-Term Rentals
Following a discussion with concerned residents at the March 5th meeting, the topic of short-term rentals through providers such as Air BnB will be investigated by the Township Committee.
b. Farmers Market
The Farmers Market began on Saturday, June 2nd and has been very successful. To date, there are 15 participating vendors with additional interest weekly. Volunteers from the Environmental Commission and Agricultural Advisory Committee are working with employees to help run the weekly event.
c. Engine Braking
Cm Jacobs reported that he has received noise complaints from local residents regarding engine braking on Rt. 206 near Quick Chek. This issue was investigated in 2006 by the Board of Health. Due to no enforcement, the issue was never resolved. A meeting with NJDOT is scheduled for June 15th.
d. Interchange Improvements – I-287/I-78/Rt. 202/206
NJDOT is currently working on improvements to the I-287/I-78/Rt. 202-206 Interchange. The portion of the project that impacts Exit 22A has been the topic of safety concerns from local residents. A meeting with NJDOT is scheduled for June 15th in Trenton.
