a. Short-Term Rentals
Landlord registrations have increased due to this investigation. Correspondence from the Zoning Official to landlords is being provided to the Township Committee.
b. Engine Braking
Excessive noise complaints from residents near Rt. 206 regarding engine braking has prompted the Township Committee to look into the requirements for restricted roadways. A portable sign reminding truckers to refrain from engine braking on Rt. 206 has been placed near Old Dutch Road for a period of time.
c. Pluckemin Park
Inspection of the property by Code Enforcement and Zoning revealed several violations that are yet to be addressed by the new property manager. The Zoning Official and Code Enforcement Official met with Attorney Belardo to discuss the violations and issue summonses.
d. JCP&L Outages
JCP&L attended the June 17th meeting to report on the status of the repair projects in Bedminster with priority given to the Hills Development. Representatives from impacted neighborhoods have organized and will keep in contact with JCP&L regarding the repairs.

a. June 18, 2019 – Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club – Official notification of their annual fireworks display for members and guests on Thursday, July 4th with a rain date of Friday, July 5th at 9:30 pm.
b. June 22, 2019 – Hamilton Farms Golf Club – Official notification of their annual fireworks display for members and guests on Wednesday, July 3rd at approximately 9:00 pm.
c. June 18, 2019 – Readington Township – An Ordinance Amending Chapter 148 Entitled “Land Development” of the Code of the Township of Readington to Eliminate Cemeteries as a Permitted or Conditional Use. This Ordinance was adopted on June 17, 2019.
