Ordinance 2018-013 – AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE MUNICIPAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS 130 HILLSIDE AVENUE. (B 28 L 1) This Ordinance authorizes the sale of the former Township Hall property known as 130 Hillside Avenue. The public hearing for this Ordinance is scheduled for December 17, 2018 at 7:00 pm, Municipal Building, One Miller Lane, Bedminster, NJ.

Short-Term Rentals
The Zoning Official is currently investigating approximately 30 properties, reported by neighbors, in the Hills Development that might be in violation. Correspondence and meetings with various neighborhood associations and property management groups are ongoing.
b. Engine Braking
Cm Jacobs reported that he has received noise complaints from local residents regarding engine braking on Rt. 206 near Quick Chek. Temporary signage was implemented reminding truckers not to use engine braking. Enforcement is still being discussed with the police department. Additional information on restricted and unrestricted roads is being researched.

Permission to Use Right of Way – 56 Tuttle Avenue
Potential property owner would like to propose a new driveway access to 56 Tuttle Avenue from a Right of Way. Comments from neighbors are being reviewed as well as property history.

Pluckemin Park
Inspection of the property by Code Enforcement and Zoning revealed several violations that are being addressed by the new property manager who has both a financial and timing commitment for the project. The Township Committee will monitor this matter.
