10. Introduction of Ordinances
a. Ordinance No. 2018-005 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $32,000.00 FOR VARIOUS POLICE EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. This Ordinance authorizes appropriating $32,000.00 for Various Police Equipment for the Police Department in Bedminster Township. The public hearing for this Ordinance is scheduled for May 21, 2018 at 7:00 pm, Municipal Building, One Miller Lane, Bedminster, NJ.

b. Resolution No. 2018-045 Authorizing the Insertion of a Special Item of Revenue and Appropriation for Equal Amounts in the 2018 Budget to include Funding for the Click It or Ticket Grant.
c. Resolution No. 2018-046 Identifying the Recreation Department 2018 Spring & Summer Program Fees
d. Resolution No. 2018-047 Authorizing Seasonal Employees for the Recreation Department June 22, 2018 through August 10, 2018

Representatives from the Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House will give an update on recent programs, projects and grants that involve the house and property.

a. Farmer’s Market 2018
The Environmental Commission and the Agriculture Advisory Committee have been working on plans for a Farmer’s Market that would be open on Saturday mornings beginning in June 2018 at River Road Park.
b. Short-Term Rentals
Following a discussion with concerned residents at the March 5th meeting, the topic of short-term rentals through providers such as Air BnB will be investigated by the Township Committee.

Bridgewater Township – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 126 ENTITLED “LAND USE”, SECTION 126-2 ENTITLED “DEFINITIONS” AND 126-339 ENTITLED “REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIFIC ACCESSORY USES” AND CHAPTER 125 ENTITLED “SWIMMING POOLS”, TO REPEAL CHAPTER SECTION 126-194 ENTITLED “FENCES” AND TO CREATE A NEW CHAPTER 196 ENTITLED “FENCES AND RETAINING WALLS” TO CONSOLIDATE AND AMEND THE TOWNSHIP’S REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO CERTAIN PRIVACY FENCES. This Ordinance is scheduled for a public hearing on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 7:30 pm for a public hearing in the Courtroom in the Municipal Complex at 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ.
